Mom & Baby Yoga & Pilates with Marnie Memmolo
MOM & BABY YOGA

This class is designed to nurture your bond between you and your baby, fight off "baby blues," improve your posture, stretch and relax as you let go of all the aches and pains of the postpartum body, strengthen and tone particularly abdominals and pelvic floor muscles, increase your energy, learn relaxation techniques and introduce yourself to a parenting community. In addition, help your baby sleep better, assist with digestion, colic and fussiness, increase neuromuscular and motor development, strengthen muscles, develop social and play skills, assist babies natural development tummy time, crawling, walking, nurture and bond between parent and child. (Dads, Partners, and other care givers are welcome too!)

Find and strengthen your core, ease lower back discomfort that is common during the postpartum period, improve your posture and return to your pre-pregnancy body AND workout with your baby.  North Shore Yoga offers Stott Pilates mat classes.  Each week progressively builds upon the next allowing you to continue to build strength, stamina and confidence while continuing to challenge yourself in a safe and effective manner.
 
With an emphasis on breath, core conditioning and body awareness, PILATES exercise is a safe and highly effective way to stretch, strengthen and streamline your body without building bulk or stressing your joints. This class is a perfect compliment to cardiovascular exercise, sport, rehab and life. Exercises will leave you looking toned, feeling revitalized and moving with ease.
 

 
Mom & Baby Pricing, class dates & policies
  • Drop-in = $20
  • 5 week yoga series = $90
  • 5 week Pilates series = $75
  • Yoga & Pilates series = $140  
 
Summer 2013 YOGA Sessions:
  • Session I: 6/14, 6/21, 6/28, 7/12, & 7/19 (no class 7/5; make up 7/26)
  • Session II: 8/2, 8/9, 8/16, 8/23 & 8/30 (make up 9/6)
Summer 2013 PILATES Sessions:
  • Summer I dates: 6/11, 6/18, 6/25, 7/9, & 16 (no class 7/2; make up class 7/23)
  • Summer II dates:  7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20 & 8/27 (make up class 9/3)

Please note: Due to the short nature of each monthly session, kindly review your calendar prior to committing to the entire series. With this understanding, no refunds, exchanges or additional "make-ups" will be granted unless otherwise noted or a medical condition prohibits you from attending. If you are unable to commit to the entire session, you can always choose the drop-in fee and pay week to week.

Birth Circle
Join our BIRTH CIRCLE!!!  Share your birthing experience, meet other new mothers and babies, share information, and gain new knowledge from guest presenters professionals that service postpartum women and children.  Our Birth Circle meets monthly on the last Monday of the month from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.  Birth Circle fee = $5.
